<summary>What's new in NF 2023.1.1</summary>

- You can provide custom “map overlay” content in the form of GeoJSON and SVG files. For example, you could use this feature to include reaches and channels on your map. ([Demo ](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/RKB/pages/2145419299)📹 )
- You can now toggle your current location on and off on the map view. When you toggle your location on, the map will show your current location.
- If you have tags that are part of a manual data collection system you can now edit those tag values in SiteConnect and NetworkConnect.
- Use the Help menu in NetworkConnect or SiteConnect  to contact Rubicon Support or to lodge support requests.
- It is possible to bulk-load irrigation units from a JSON file. Please contact Rubicon Support if you need to do this.
- Orders lodged in CustomerConnect, NetworkConnect, and SiteConnect will use the Default Start Time and Order Privilege attributes if these are configured. See [Restricting Order Start Times](https://support.rubiconwater.com/help/dms/content/topics/modules/orders/ref_orderprivilege.htm?Highlight=default%20start%20time) for an explanation of how these are used in ordering.
- You can now create repeating orders in CustomerConnect, NetworkConnect, and SiteConnect. To do this, specify the number of repeats and the repeat frequency on the Order Create form.
- In NetworkConnect you can now specify a refill point for a crop type. This will be used as the default refill type when creating a planting in NetworkConnect, SiteConnect, or CustomerConnect.

- As well as a SCADA_ADMINISTRATOR, an OPERATOR or a METER READER can now also [set the location](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/NC/pages/1914765408/Sites#Setting-the-location-of-a-site) of a site.
- If a Site is a regulator you can now view and manage any explicit [https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/NC/pages/1952350209](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/NC/pages/1952350209) configured for the site.
- You can now use the DMS Security Manager module to give users access to [view and manage irrigation units and plantings.](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/NC/pages/1914766044/Configuration#Granting-Access-to-View-and-Manage-Plantings-and-Irrigation-Units)
- When you create a [rotation](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/NC/pages/1914765993) using the *Self Service* mode, a setpoint is placed on the top setflow regulator for the rotation area.  Irrigators in the area are free to use the water supplied if they wish. The setpoint is removed when the rotation is finished or if it is deleted.
- You can now create repeating [rotations](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/NC/pages/1914765993) by entering an offset in days between the end of one rotation and the start of another, and the number of times that you want to repeat the first rotation.

# NF 2022.1.3

<details>
<summary>What's new in NF 2022.1.3</summary>

- You can now create and manage [Crop Types](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/NC/pages/1914765888), [Irrigation Units](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/NC/pages/1930166354/Irrigation+Units+and+Plantings#Creating-and-Managing-Irrigation-Units), and [Plantings](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/NC/pages/1930166354/Irrigation+Units+and+Plantings#Creating-and-Managing-Plantings) in NetworkConnect.

> ℹ️ **Note**
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ You do not need to use these features unless you are ordering by crop type or using the Demand Prediction tool.

- Crop types are used to define different types of land use. Crop Types can now be created and managed in NetworkConnect for use in ordering or with Demand Prediction. Any existing crop types that you set up in DMS can also be managed in NetworkConnect.
- Irrigation units are land areas that are part of a property. You can set up irrigation units in NetworkConnect by either specifying the unit area or by drawing the unit boundaries directly on the map.
- Plantings are associations between a crop type, and irrigation unit, and a period of time. They are used to define what crop is being grown on a particular unit and what stage of development the crop has reached.
- Once you have defined your crop types, irrigation units and plantings you can use them for:
  - [Ordering with crop types](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/NC/pages/1914765763)
  - Calculating demand with the [Demand Prediction](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/NC/pages/1929937205) tool.
- The DMS [Demand Prediction](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/NC/pages/1929937205) tool calculates the predicted water demand for an area and a time period. It is used to determine how much water the network should supply to the area. The data used by the tool is configured in both DMS and NetworkConnect.
- You can use the Demand Prediction tool to calculate the flow required for a Rotation.

> ℹ️ **Note**
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ Demand Prediction is not included with DMS by default. Contact Rubicon Support if you are interested in using it.

- You can now specify the area type for a rotation and enter the flow rate for the rotation.
- The rotation will either create orders at the upstream boundary regulator for the area, or at the outlets in the area. See [Orders for Rotations](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/NC/pages/1914765993/Rotations#Orders-for-Rotations) for configuration details.
- Use the Chart tab on the Rotations screen to show the list of rotations as a [Gantt chart](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/NC/pages/1914765993/Rotations#View-Rotations-on-a-Gantt-Chart).
- The Site Details screen now includes a [Properties](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/NC/pages/1930166283) tab. This tab is where you view and manage site account details and the details of irrigation units and plantings that belong to a property.
- The site map now includes a [tool](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/NC/pages/1914765408/Sites#Map-tools) to show or hide Irrigation Units
- Create and view [Notes](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/NC/pages/1914765474/Site+Summary#Adding-a-Note-to-a-Site) for a site on the Site Summary screen. Add an optional expiry date for the note.
- SCADA ADMINISTRATORS can now [change the site name and the site external name](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/NC/pages/1914765474/Site+Summary#Changing-the-Site-Name-and-External-Name) from the site settings.
- You can now [trend alarm history](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/NC/pages/1914765916) on their site history screen. Either choose an individual alarm from the alarm list or choose Trend All from the Alarm History panel.
