> ℹ️ **Note**
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ Your Water Authority may impose additional restrictions on how orders can be placed. For example, there may be restrictions on start times and durations, on notice periods, or on the amount of water you can order in certain periods.
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ If there are problems with your order, a relevant warning will be displayed.

> ℹ️ This page describes how to request an order at a manually planned, unmetered outlet where you do not need to specify the crops planted.
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ (This order creation process has been configured to meet the requirements of a specific customer.)

You can start creating a new order in one of these ways:

- Tap the **Add** button at the bottom left of the Orders page.
- Tap the **Add Order** icon at the top right of the Site Details screen
- Choose **Request Order** from the customer menu options in the [https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SC/pages/2095546384](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SC/pages/2095546384) list.
- Choose **Repeat Order** from the Order menu (you can also repeat the last order in the Request Order screen in the Flows section).

> ℹ️ **Note**
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ If you repeat the previous order the system will provide a new default start date and time but will copy the other details of the previous order.

This will open the **Request Order** screen.

# Entering Order Details

Complete the following order details.

> ℹ️ **Notes**
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ - You will complete the form one step at a time. Click the **Next** button after each step to proceed to the next step.
> ℹ️ - If default settings have been applied for any step then the stepper will skip that step and open at the next incomplete step. You can click back into the previous steps to select different values if you prefer.

## Water Account

Choose the Water Account for which you want to place an order. This may also be defaulted in for you if appropriate.

## Outlet

Choose the outlet at which you want to place an order. If you have opened the Request Order screen from the Site Details screen, or if there is only one outlet available, then this will be defaulted in for you.

## Operator

This value may be defaulted in for you depending on how you initiated the request.

## Flows

Check your remaining allocation. The allocation is given in hours assuming the flow rate currently entered for this flow (the default flow rate will be entered for you but you can change this if you wish). If you want to use up your remaining allocation you can tap the **Use all **button to automatically add all the remaining water to the current flow.

Enter the flows for the order.

> ℹ️ **Note**
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ If you want to quickly enter the details of the last order you placed, tap the **Repeat** button in the **Last Order** section. You can then enter the new start time and modify any other order details.

For each flow, specify:

- The preferred start time (this may be changed when the order is scheduled by the planner).
- *Either* the order end time or the order duration.

- The flow rate.
- Tap the **Add** button in the Flows panel to add another flow.

# Notifications

Use this optional step to configure notifications for this order.

> ℹ️ **Note**
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ If you don’t specify notifications for a specific order, the system will use the irrigator’s default notification settings.

For each available notification type you can select any of the authorised operators for the site. You can also add recipients by phone number or email address.

> ℹ️ **Note**
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ You can view and update any pending notification settings in the [Order Details](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/NCTS/pages/2515109155) page.

## Repeat Order

Use this optional step to request orders that will be repeated more than once. See [Creating a Repeating Order](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/NC/pages/2868773243) for details.

## Notes

Use this optional step to add a message for the Planner to your order. See [Working with Messages on an Order](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/pages/createpage.action?spaceKey=SC&title=2025.1.2%20Working%20with%20Messages%20on%20an%20Order) .

# Lodging the Order

When you have entered enough information to define an order the **Lodge Order **button is enabled. Tap this button when you are ready to review and lodge your order. This will send the order to the Planner for scheduling.

# Order Status

The statuses that an order can have are as follows:

- **Requested** - The order has been placed, but has not yet been planned.
- **Scheduling** - The order is included in a plan, but the plan has not yet been finalised.
- **Estimated** - The order is in a finalised plan.
- **Confirmed** - The order has been confirmed for delivery in the future.
- **Operating** - The order is being delivered currently.
- **Delivered** - The order has already been delivered.
- **Waitlisted** - The order is Waitlisted for Planner consideration.
- **Unconfirmed** - The order requires confirmation but has not yet been confirmed.
- **Expired** - The order is expired and was not delivered.

# Confirming the Order

Once your order is scheduled you will need to confirm it. You’ll receive a notification telling you that your order is ready to confirm.

You can also see your notifications in the Messages section of the [Order Details](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CC/pages/1993801782) screen.

> ℹ️ **Note**
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ If you have more than one order to confirm, you’ll have the option of confirming all the orders at once or confirming one order at a time.

# Modifying or Cancelling the Order

See [https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CC/pages/1993801729](https://rubiconwater.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CC/pages/1993801729) for details of how to modify or cancel pending orders but be aware that the options for doing this depend on your Water Authority policies.

### Operating Orders

These are the additional changes that you can make to a manually planned operating orders:

- Change the start time of an operating Order - You can change the start time of an order after it has begun but the new start time must be within the time period for the order.

> ℹ️ **Example**
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ You would typically do this if you were late starting the order and needed to adjust the billed quantity.

- Change the finish time of an operating order - you can change the finish time of an order after it has begun with the following limitations:
  - You can move the finish time up to one hour EARLIER but you must do so at least TWO hours before the original finish time.
  - You can move the finish time up to one hour LATER but you must do so at least ONE hour before the original finish time.

> ℹ️ **Note**
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ These restrictions allow time for the irrigator downstream of you to receive notice of their correct order start time.
